SuiTags — Smart NFC Tags for Luggage
I designed a complete smart tag system for suitcases combining physical product, brand identity, and a digital platform to facilitate real-time lost luggage recovery.
The Challenge
Traditional tags are unaesthetic, contain static information, and don't allow real-time interaction with whoever finds a suitcase. Also, contact details are often outdated and there's no way to know where the luggage is.
The Solution
I created SuiTags: 3D-printed physical tags with integrated NFC that redirect to a digital profile of the owner. From there, the owner can update their data in real-time, mark the luggage as lost, share their location, and communicate directly with the person who found it. The system is completed with a social layer where users can connect with other travelers and share their journey.
